Professor Anthony Nobles

Prof. Nobles is currently the Chairman and CEO of Nobles Medical Technologies 2, Inc., HeartStitch Medical, Inc., Gyntle Care, Inc. and a Director of International Innovation Fund.

Prof. Nobles has founded more than 28 companies in the fields of Electronics, Medical Devices, Banking, Automotive Engineering, Retail, Real Estate and many others.

Prof. Nobles is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Westsachsische Hochschule in Zwickau, Germany. As well as guest professor to the School of Automotive Engineering in Zwickau. Prof. Nobles is also a guest Professor at Nazarbayev University for the School of Medicine and the School of Business.

In his capacity as the Chairman, President, and/or CEO of both private and publically-traded companies, Prof. Nobles has personally invented and Developed more than 155 medical devices, as well as certain leading electronic technologies of our era including the portable electronic book and endoscopic imaging systems.

Prof. Nobles has sold 27 companies or licensed their technologies to several of the world’s largest medical device companies including Medtronic, Johnson and Johnson and Boston Scientific such as the recent sale of Nobles Medical Technologies, his vascular closure business.

Prof. Nobles has been a contributing author for publications on Endovascular Surgery, Angioscopy, Surgical Technology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Neuro Endoscopy, Structural Heart Interventions and Laparoscopic Surgery.

Prof. Nobles has lectured, presented and contributed more than 100 times from 1988 to present at the American College of Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Society of Vascular Surgery, the University of California at Los Angeles, University of Southern California, Chapman University, Rose-Hullman Institute of Technology, Harvard Medical School, and the International Society of Neurology and Neurological Surgeons, the Paris Congress of Cardiology, National Congress of Cardiac Surgery- Astana, Congress of Structural Heart Interventions Kazakhstan, CSI Structural Heart Interventions Congress.

As Chief Clinical Specialist Prof. Nobles has 28 years of hands on clinical experience in the O.R. and Catheter lab, having scrubbed in more than 1,000 cases from Neurosurgery to Cardiology. He has given Master Classes in Neurosurgery, Cardiology and Cardiac surgery to physicians all over the world. Prof. Nobles has taught clinical training symposiums at major conferences to leading physicians.

Richard Bjorkman, President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Bjorkman has more than 25 years of experience in Corporate Accounting and Financial Management Consulting. He has served as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Controller, and Project Manager. He has provided accounting and consulting services to clients in various industries, including multi-unit retail and distribution; high tech with both software licensing and box software, and life sciences industries in both private and public companies. He has experience working with both small businesses and Fortune 500 companies and has been involved in the integration of mergers and acquisitions; bringing order and structure to disorganized accounting departments; and training and developing accounting staff to perform above their basic functions.
Mr. Bjorkman attended California State University Long Beach where he received his BS degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting. After graduating, he earned his CPA certification while working for 5 years as an auditor with KPMG in their Los Angeles office. Mr. Bjorkman also received a certificate from the Managerial Policy Institute given by the Office of Executive Programs; Graduate School of Business Administration at USC.

Dru Dobbs, Vice President of Operations & Manufacturing

Dru Dobbs has experience in manufacturing, quality, risk management and operations. During his first 3 years at HeartStitch® he has reduced the cost of manufacturing more than 300%, he has increased production volumes 500% and established the highest level medical device manufacturing culture in the history of HeartStitch®.

Mr. Dobbs has developed new manufacturing policies and procedures to increase production times and outcomes. He has established new employee plans to increase individual responsibility and cross training that reduces cost and overhead.

Kazbek Aubakirov, Vice President of Central Asian Operations & Director EMS

Mr. Aubakirov joined HeartStitch® in 2015 to establish operations in Astana, Kazakhstan. He formed Educated Medical Solutions, a wholly owned Kazakh subsidiary of HeartStitch, Inc.. Mr. Aubakirov opened the first central Asian medical device manufacturing facility capable of producing cardiac catheters in Kazakhstan. Mr. Aubakirov has experience in ISO, FDA compliance and Risk Management. Mr. Aubakirov is a graduate of the Nazarbayev University MBA program.
A project management professional with close to 20 years of experience in management positions and international assignments in development, procurement, management consulting, and oil & gas industries. Particularly strong in project execution & completion, has a track record of delivering tangible results in any position / assignment throughout career. One of top students of inaugural Executive MBA class at Nazarbayev University (in partnership with Duke Fuqua GSB).

As Director of Educated Medical Solutions, LLP Mr. Aubakirov introduced the NobleStitch El to the Kazakhstan market, achieving regulatory compliance, approval of new clinical protocols, and training of physicians. Mr. Aubakirov implemented a license agreement to manufacture the product in Kazakhstan, managed construction, equipment, and certification of cleanroom facilities. Mr. Aubakirov coordinates training, regulatory, and quality management activities. The subsidiary has successfully launched manufacturing and is currently producing its second qualification lot.
